Training

Here at Twisted Fate, we work to train your horse the right way. We specialize in colt starting, but also offer advanced training on aged horses and showing. Our number one priority with every horse is to keep them gentle, safe, and sane. We detail our approach to each horse depending on their needs, but focus on getting them soft, supple, and responsive throughout their body. We will also put time on each horse outside of the arena exposing them to real life situations which helps build a solid using equine partner. When you take your horse home, we want you to feel confident that they’re ready for you to use and enjoy. We require that all horses stay with us for a minimum of 60 days. This helps us establish a solid foundation that will allow them to excel in whichever discipline you choose to continue on in.

Let us help you promote your horse! In recent years we have been spending more time in the show pen and thoroughly enjoy it! We have shown horses for clients at the Iowa Quarter Horse Association Ranch Horse Futurity, from in-hand yearling to 4 year old cattle classes along with local AQHA/VRH and NRCHA shows.​​

2025 Rates

Training: 60 day MINIMUM

• $1,200 for 30 days (Includes grain, hay, shavings, and access to cattle)

• Additional costs that may arise if needed, such as vet or farrier work, will be billed to customer.

• Discounts offered for 180 days or more!
